Laurence E.(Larry) Blow
SIERRA VISTA, AZ — Maglev
Wind Turbine Technologies, Inc. (MWTT) is pleased to
announce that Mr. Laurence E. (Larry) Blow has agreed to
join our company as Chief
Consulting Engineer.
Ed Mazur, Founder and CEO of MWTT, is convinced that Mr.
Blow’s involvement will
significantly contribute to the success of the company,
given his extensive background
and experience in applying maglev technology for practical
purposes. Combined with his
early project management experience in the Defense
Department, it could be said that no
other individual currently working in the field of maglev
technology has Mr. Blow’s
range of practical working experience.
The following is a sample of Mr. Blow’s previous projects:
• Senior Associate, Commonwealth Research Associates, where
he is helping to
define maglev technology performance in feasibility studies
for the corridors
connecting Atlanta, Georgia with Chattanooga and Chattanooga
with Nashville,
Tennessee.
• President, MaglevTransport, Incorporated, a management
consulting firm, where
his broad experience in the field of magnetic levitation
technology supports
private clients in the U.S.
• Senior Project Manager, Transrapid International-USA,
where he helped several
clients in the USA define and promote maglev
pre-construction projects.
• Corporate Program Manager, General Dynamics Corp., where
he established
business relationships with Federal and Congressional
sponsors and maglev
suppliers.
• Technical Coordinator, U.S. Department of Energy's Argonne
National
Laboratory, where he supported the federal National Maglev
Initiative.
• Senior Associate, Strategic Insight, LLC, where he
provided technology transfer
consulting to NASA and helped initiate the
Baltimore-Washington high-speed
maglev project.
Mr. Blow will immediately assist the company in the design
and production of its 1-50
megawatt turbines to include specific maglev technology.
MWTT believes the
availability of its wind turbines — using maglev technology
to provide very inexpensive
and emission-free electricity anywhere in the world — will
have a very significant impact
in the worldwide market for reliable, clean energy.
Maglev Wind Turbine Technologies Inc. is not a
publicly-traded company, and therefore
